A powerful 6.3-magnitude earthquake struck western Afghanistan on Saturday, killing many people. According to the information received so far, 15 people died in this earthquake, while 78 people were injured.
Mohammad Taleb Saheed, director of public health in Herat province, told the media that the death toll was based on the bodies brought to the central hospital, but it was not the final number. He said that the death toll may rise as many more people are trapped under the debris.

According to the report of India’s National Center for Seismology, three strong earthquakes were felt in Afghanistan within half an hour on Saturday (October 7). The third and most recent earthquake was felt at 12:42 pm, with a magnitude of 6.2 on the Richter scale. The second earthquake was felt at 12:19 PM, with a magnitude of 5.6, and before that, the first earthquake occurred at 12:11 PM, with a magnitude of 6.1.

On the other hand, according to the US Geological Survey, a total of 6 earthquakes occurred, and the strongest earthquake had a magnitude of 6.3.

Israel launched Operation Iron Swords

The Israeli army has declared a state of war after hundreds of rockets were fired at Israel from the Gaza Strip. As a result of this rocket attack, there have been fires in many places in Israel and warning sirens are ringing, according to media reports. About 22 Israeli citizens were killed in this attack and some Israeli soldiers were claimed to have been kidnapped by Hamas

Israel declared war after the attack. Hamas started the war, but Israel says it will end it. Along with this, Operation Iron Swords has been launched by the Israeli army on the Gaza Strip.
After this attack, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has now warned to destroy Hamas. Netanyahu also posted a video on social media and issued a stern warning to Hamas. We are at war and we will win. “Our enemy will have to pay such a price that they never thought,” he said.

In addition, Defense Minister Yves Gallant has warned the citizens of the whole country. The Palestinian terrorist organization Hamas has launched a war against Israel. “Hamas will definitely suffer the consequences of this serious mistake,” he said.
