Kalahandi University was renamed Manikeshwari University

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik is visiting Kalahandi on wednesday. On the occasion of Kalahandis Foundation Day, he greeted and met Mr. Kalahandi University has changed its name today with the launch of Lakshmi Yojana in Kalahandi. Kalahandi University was renamed Manikeshwari University. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik announced this. The Chief Minister announced this at the inauguration ceremony of Lakshmi Bus.

Kalahandi got new medical college. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has inaugurated the Shaheed Rendo Majhi Medical College on Wednesday. Union Health and Family Welfare Minister Mansukh Mandvia was present on the occasion through virtual presence. On this occasion, the Chief Minister had a conversation with a student Pratish Kumar Kukhar. After the chief minister asked about the facilities for studying, he said that all kinds of facilities are available for studying here and we are studying happily. Union Minister Mandviya spoke to two students, Anupriya Kumari and Anushka Singh.

This medical college and hospital is named after the great freedom fighter of Kalahandi district, Rendo Majhi. In today’s opening ceremony, Kalahandis MP Basant Panda, State Health Minister Niranjan Pujari and 5T and Naveen Odisha Chairman V.K. Pandian was also present.

It is worth noting that classes have started from this year in Shaheed Rando Majhi Medical College of Kalahandi, built with an investment of Rs. 325 crores. Built on an area of 43.18 acres, 100 students have started their studies in this college. Thirteen students from state government schools have enrolled in it. Along with the medical college, the state government is also constructing a 650-bed teaching hospital with an investment of Rs.206 crore at its own expense. It is currently under construction.

Happy day for Kalahandi. Very happy with the launch of ‘Lakshmi’ scheme. Bus facility will be available in 63 panchayats of the district. This scheme will connect everyone with development. It will bring happiness in the home. The Chief Minister said this while launching Lakshmi Yojana yesterday in Kalahandi.

Chief Minister said, development has been brought in the fields of education, health, communication etc. Kalahandis is progressing in the journey of development. Kalahandis supplies rice to the whole country. Soon our Odisha Naveen Odisha program will start in Kalahandi. The Chief Minister has sought everyone’s cooperation for the development of Kalahandi. Shahid Rendo said in his speech that Majhi Medical College has been inaugurated.

The Chief Minister has launched the ‘Lakshmi’ bus scheme in Kalahandi. Lakshmi Bus went from rural to urban areas. Added new chapter on transit facility. With the introduction of this bus service, people can get bus services for their education, health and other basic services. The Chief Minister has launched 17 projects and laid the foundation stone of 180 projects.
