PM Narendra Modi has not taken a single leave since 2014
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who has served as the leader of India for nine consecutive years, Since assuming the prime minister’s office in 2014, PM Narendra Modi has not taken a single leave, said the prime minister’s office (PMO).
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not taken a single day off from work in his nine years as Prime Minister of India, according to the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) in response to a Right to Information (RTI) request.
In response to a Right to Information query, Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has not taken a single leave since assuming Prime Minister’s office in 2014.
The first question was how many days PM Modi has been in office since becoming India’s Prime Minister in 2014, to which PMO responded: “The Prime Minister is on duty all the time. No leave has been availed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi since taking office.”
In an RTI filed by Prafful P Sarda, two questions were asked- first, how many days PM Modi has attended office since becoming the Prime Minister of India in 2014 and second question asked about the details of the number of days present and attended various events and functions by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji after becoming PM of India.
In answer to the first question, the PMO stated, “The Prime Minister is on duty all the time. No leave has been availed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi since taking office.”
Union Home Minister Amit Shah had said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi had not taken a leave in 20 years. It has been said many times that Prime Minister Narendra Modi works 18-20 hours daily and while on a foreign trip, he sleeps on the plane.
