After 45 years, PM Narendra Modi in Poland

Narendra Modi has visited Poland as the first Prime Minister after 45 years. Upon his arrival in Warsaw, the capital of Poland, he was given a rousing welcome. The Polish Foreign Minister welcomed Modi and took his leave. Members of the Indian community also welcomed Modi by tying rakhis on his hands. In Warsaw, Modi toured the memorial and addressed the Indian community. Addressing about 25 thousand people of Indian descent, he spoke about the development and glory of India.

He said to the people of the world that this is not the time for war. India has worked for humanity when the whole world was struggling with war and epidemics like Corona. On the sidelines of the visit, Modi will hold bilateral talks with Polish President Andrzej Sebastian Duda and Prime Minister Donald Tusk. He will also talk to Poland citizens to understand Poland culture and behavior.

After visiting Poland, Modi will visit Ukraine on August 23. For this, he will travel by train from Poland to Ukraine for 10 hours. This will be the first visit of an Indian Prime Minister to Ukraine since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries in 1992. The Prime Minister’s visit to Ukraine will help in further strengthening and expanding bilateral relations between the two countries.
