The Odisha government has decided to introduce a special law to make the recruitment process transparent and fair. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling gave this information on behalf of the Chief Minister in the Assembly. The minister said that the odisha government is committed to filling up 150,000 posts in the next five years.

Similarly, the government will fill 65 thousand posts in the next 2 years. The government is taking steps to fill the total 34 thousand 686 vacant posts by next December. By the end of this month, the maximum number of 21 thousand 979 vacancies in the school and public education department will be filled, the minister said in the house.

According to the data given by the Chief Minister in the house in the current assembly, the maximum number of 63,405 posts are vacant in the school and public education department, while 9,127 posts are vacant in the three health departments.
